Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful stay there. Everything in the house is fresh, clean, and thoughtfully arranged — it really feels like a brand-new place, designed with care and attention to detail. The host is a truly exceptional person — polite, intelligent, and clearly someone with a lot of heart. You can feel how much he cares about his guests' comfort. He’s gone above and beyond to create a welcoming space, and it shows in all the little touches. There are plenty of brochures for museums and tourist maps available, along with business cards from local restaurants. We followed some of his recommendations and were not disappointed — each place we tried was excellent. We also loved the collection of board games, which made for some really fun and cozy evenings. It’s rare to find a place that combines such order, cleanliness, and warmth. Michel, thank you for a truly memorable stay!

Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Great base for exploring Dunkirk by foot or on one of the free buses.
Negative: Parking was fine during the day but in the evening it would have been difficult to find a space. So, we didn't move our car at all and walked everywhere.

Positive: Home Sweet Home is the perfect name for this accommodation. The apartment was fabulous, so big and spacious, and had everything we needed. The decor was stunning. It was a very comfortable apartment and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. There was a little supermarket 5 minutes walk away and also a chemist.

Positive: Great thought has gone into the design and furnishing of the flat, so although relatively small, it has everything you need. It was v. comfortable for two people. High quality mattress. A lot of space in the wardrobe. Kitchen was small but v functional. The bathtub was quite large and comfortable. There is even a washing machine. The local biscuits welcome back was a nice touch, as well as the availability of coffee-pods, enough for first few days. The host is extremely helpful. You can park for free on the street in front of the flat (usually free spaces, though harder in the evening).
Negative: Not a negative really: The flat is not located on the beach or has views of the sea but is v. close walking distance to it and v. convenient.
